i play football and baseball and im not that fast but when i run my ankle and foot starts hurting i mostly do sprint type of running. im i running wrong or wrong shoes or muscles need working out. idk please help

Probably the wrong shoes and you might want to see a podiatrist about orthotics if proper shoes do not help.
Search for foot type (pronation, supination e.t.c) and math your shoe to your type.
Good running shoe stores have staff that can help fit you with the right shoe or at least help you determine your foot type.

it might be you shoes… or maybe you started too hard of a workout after a long period of inactivity.

i think it is your shoe
they are probably too small for you
get some shoes that will fit you and that is for football
